LifeHikes is looking for a Website Designer to help us launch a streamlined, conversion-focused website aligned to our brand direction.
We’re looking for someone who can combine strong visual design with thoughtful user experience, —ensuring the site is intuitive to navigate, communicates our value clearly, and guides visitors toward meaningful actions such as exploring programs or connecting with our team.
The ideal partner will think strategically about layout, messaging flow, and user journeys to help prospective clients quickly understand how LifeHikes supports skill growth for teams around the world.

Responsibilities
Scope:
Reduce current website (https://lifehikes.com) from 100+ pages to essential core architecture.
Remove outdated blogs, bios, clutter.
Focus on clarity, positioning, and revenue-driving pages.
Clarify and visually simplify the LifeHikes Ecosystem perception for clarity
Design clear user journeys for key audiences
Optimize user experience across desktop and mobile
Ensure SEO and performance best practices
Phase 1 – Design (Month 1)
Deliver 3 homepage mockups aligned with the style of this page: https://lifehikes.com/global-summit-host/
Select website contractor (Q2 start target).

Experience & skills required:
Strategic Website Architecture & Simplification: Demonstrated ability to analyze large, complex websites and redesign them into a clear, streamlined structure.
Conversion-Focused UX Design: Experience designing websites that guide visitors toward key actions (e.g., program exploration, inquiries, event registration) through clear page hierarchy, intuitive layouts, and strong calls to action.
Homepage & Brand-Aligned Visual Design: Demonstrated ability to translate a brand brief into modern, professional website design, including developing multiple homepage mockups and establishing a consistent visual direction across the site.
WordPress.com Implementation & Build Management: Strong experience building and launching full websites in WordPress.com, including page templates, responsive design, content migration, and staging a full site build before launch.
Ability to structure and present complex offerings (programs, models, events) with clear messaging hierarchy, so visitors quickly understand the organization’s value and offerings.
Excellent communication (written, verbal, nonverbal) skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited oversight
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment; startup or small company experience preferred
Lifelong learner who takes responsibility for your own growth, knowledge and development
Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize technology, including AI tools, to make your work more efficient
Skilled at collaborating with a diverse group of people across time zones and cultures
Compensation
$15-30 an hour commensurate with experience. The contractor should provide a proposal with an estimated number of hours for each phase as part of their application.
